Mirage Hair Salon Collective Branded Bag

After 14 years running Mirage Salon in Redmond, Washington, Laura Rux faced a pivot. COVID had reshaped her business, so she remodeled the space and moved to a salon suites model. That meant winning over two audiences at once: the clients she had built her reputation on, and the independent stylists she now needed to fill those suites.

Working with her team, we found that the old name, Mirage Hair Design, no longer matched what the business had become. We renamed it Mirage Salon Collective to reflect that, then built a fresh, contemporary brand identity and logo around the new direction.

The result was a look that could speak to clients and stylists alike, and a process that took the guesswork out of getting there:

Alyssa was an absolutely fabulous professional to work with for my business branding.

Her process helped me define my preferences and hone in on a brand look and design quite seamlessly. I can easily get bogged down with too many likes with design elements but she was great at guiding and advising and being the pro at her business, so I didn’t have to. No guess work just great guidance and artistry!”
